it used to be a common sense that low fat diet reduces the risk of CVD and cancer because many studies showed some evidence. The Women's Health Initiative study was conducted to prove whether it was true or not. This is the right way of doing although the conclusion is still controversial. How can you just sit at your desk and be so sure that 统计相关性 is not 因果性?
