We are readers/supporters of the New Threads (XYS, xys.org), a U.S. based Chinese website dedicated to fighting against academic corruption in China. XYS has been exposing Dr. Xiao's academic misconducts and his exaggerated (possibly fraudulent) claims about his procedure since 2005. This case has recently drawn the attention of Chinese lawyers and media, whose further investigations revealed more astonishing facts regarding the Xiao Procedure.
