be qualified as industries and ready for market oriented operation. The reality is these areas have historically been part of government functions therefore can not be easily opened to foreigners. But things are certainly moving quickly in the right direction.
Then what about fining Boeing $$$ for shipping a damn chip? I don't see a chip is in anyway comparable to banking and telecom infrastructure.
The fact is no matter in how many areas chinese are applying protective policies, the weight of foreign trade in its GDP is larger than that for US, even US has a much more mature market oriented economy, and that does not sound right.
