I can use "migrate" to transfer softwares from my other machine. It may take hours though. Damn Apple, I have to carry this heavy iMac to a store for reinstall a new disk after making an appointment. Time is money, man! My Macair fell apart, iMac hard drive failed. Only my macbook has been trouble free. And yet, my 10 yr old laptop is still working. If it was not due to virus free on Mac, I would have not switched.
