I have been working in several GM programs in China.
3.8L never means better than 3L. In fact, the product GM produced has higher quality than the one manufactured in North America.
The latest program I have participated in is Cadillac STS, which will be lauched soon. GM China will have best STS in the whole world. The reason is simple, GM got the best profit in China.
