回答: There is an area called queueing theory 由 Enlighten 于 2006-4-07, 14:49:54:

This is a veriation of Erlang process. In Erlang's case, people come to counter and wait to be serve. The difference is that in Erlang distribution, there n servers there to serve people nonstop. But in my case, a periodical server who can serve n people in a batch. It is a queuing theory problem, and I have to admit, I am pretty rusty in this area.
