引用:

"Whenever you feel like criticizing any one," he told me, "just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages
that you've had."

【方译】
“每当你想要批评谁的时候,”他告诉我,“就记住,世上并非人人都有你有的那些优势。”

把“all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had”这一现在完成时译成了过去时,对这种语法细节的把握,是颇能反映一个人的语感的。

今天碰巧读到如下的句子:
"However, the idea that there has been history, but there is none anymore, then makes its appearance with a vengence: according to Hegel by the time human history is launched, the history of the earth is completed and has ceased utterly to develop further."

请注意"there has been history, but there is none any more". I don't think if the author was to give the sentence a second thought, he would have changed it to "there had been history, but there is none any more."

结论:巫对haven't的翻译不算错。
