member of "RuoShiQunTi". The guy parked his electrical bike on the road, fairly far from the curb and was knocked down by rear wheel when I made a right turn at very low speed. I didn't notice that bike and did not witness it fell. The guy insisted it was totally my fault and demanded I pay for the damage to the bike's foot rest, which looked like a aftermarket part made by some kind of metal tube. Initially I was trying to negotiate with him for a more reasonable settlement. But after he claimed that he belongs to "RuoShiQunTi" I decided to gave up. RMB100 and 10 minutes later he was happy. I think I was lucky because the rider was not on the bike, otherwise there will be a possibility that I may bleed a lot more. Apparently as long as the other party is "RuoShiQunTi", the car owner has to pay RMBXXXXX even there is no fault on him.
