Everything is big in that temple. The problem is everything is too new.
I also got a sense why Monks need to take professional business training. The temple charges RMB88 per visitor for admission, an extra of RMB15 for museum admission(including touch of Buddha's toes). Visitors are not allowed to bring their own candle and Xiang. These stuff are sold on site for 120RMB to 9000RMB. Extra sales include writing scripts for prayers by monks(up to RMB1000 apiece) and various gifts and articles. I estimate that the revenue ranges from RMB300-500M/year for the temple. That's very serious business.
