A piece of snack in Tokyo

It's already 10 minutes past 0:00a.m. when I was going to finish the job in
the office where there were still a dozen of my Japanese colleagues fighting
against their computers.

Slightly nodding around, I left the office for the train station.

It's a drizzling night, muggy.

Passing through the entrance gate of the station, I had a quick glance
at the electronic display of the train schedules on the wall.

Luckily, the display was telling that a train heading west is earlier than
the others coming to stop at this station.

I started to run, rushing down stairs to the platform for that train.

Luck enough, I caught up the train in time.

The train, as you can imagine now, didn't stop at the station where
I was supposed to get off. Instead, it passed it! It stopped at the
next station.

It was a Rapid Train ( kind of express train) for commuters but stops at
less stations in the night than it does during the day time.

I had to spend another 10 minutes there waiting for a train bound
east, well dress coded, with a heavier laptop bag hanging on right
hand and an umbrella in left hand.

It ended up extra 25 minutes cost in that hot, humid night when
every minutes were so treasured to you.
