musical point of view. It is rather rare for a chord prograssion like {C,G,F}, -> {C, G, E}. It depends on the accompany however, the chord {C, G, F} which before the ending major chord is in fact a F major chord, or a IV chord. IV to I is called Plagal cadence or church cadence since many hymns ended with Amen, and the chord change from IV to I. However, if this is IV-I, {C, G, F} is in fact a IV added 2 for G is II in chold F lydian scale, I don't know how common this is in Chinese music. I would say it is rarely used.
