was could be the right decision then and make an apology could be a right decision now. No one is held accoutable for locking up jappanese anyway and the cost of monetory compensation to teh government is almost nothing. So what's the fuss.
I say US probably took its chance not to lock up Italian and German etc becasue the government believed they had better intelligence in these communities or may be the cost of doing so was too high to be justified by limited benefits. There is no ideology here, only SuanZhang counts.
