I admit that I consulted a good English-Chinese dictionary. My friends from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan including tT, Lily and Sid also made a few corrections. But you bet my Chinese is certainly the best, otherwise how could I have read New Threads EVERYDAY? How could I have learned of Professors Xiao and Qu, the bad guys Dr Fang exposed?
兄台is a new word for me and all my Chinese friends here. My 兄台 doesn't know it, either, neither my 弟台.
My uncle told me just now on phone that 兄台 is NOT a COMMON word in Chinese. My dictionary does not have the entry at all. Well, maybe your Chinese is too good to tell a rare word from those daily used!
