USS Reagan (CVN 76), kitty hawk strike group has 6 ships and Abraham Lincoln strike group has 3 ships all excluding the carriers themselves. That means there are totally 13 ships besides those carriers. The picture shows 9 to 10 ships plus 3 carriers, that means there are 3 other ships no in the picture. How can you concluded that the carriers had been the first? These picture is very likely to be taken from a hilo embarked on those ships which were not present in the picture.
