You select not to list your phone number on the phonebook is moreless a favor that your phone service provider does for you, with a charge of course. The whole reason for the no-call list is because you don't own your phone number, otherwise you can sue anyone who call you without your consent. Even with the no-call list, many organizations, business can still call you asking for donation, or survive about your phone company etc.
