Talking "freedom of choices" with substance is hypocrisy. All of us may be lucky to be able to choose (have options), but we should also try to feel the bitterness of those who don't have choices and are seeing their limited "choices" gradually vanishing.

It is just horrifying to see life-and-death issue can be an option. Shouldn't be a right, at least in US?

If we let health insurance become an option, how many of those in the lowest quintile will end up not having an insurance (because they they can manage their own finance) because they have to make other ends meet first?
