Eddie only supported someone who used information already made public by others. You may disagree with him on this. But there is no indication/evidence that Eddie did not or will not do his best to protect your privacy.
If one is concerned with his privacy, he should first go after the source of the error, not Eddie. After all, it did happen, and no one has assured you how it will not happen again. A security review would help more than going after Eddie.
