i play in bbo, arguebly the nicest online place (don't play yahoo bridge), frequently encounter rude ones, in my memory, all over the world, no pattern can be certain.
my advice is try finding good partners and stick with them, list them as friends so next time can easily find them, good people tend to get together and maybe soon u will find 8 nice people total to paly a mini tournament
