Well, I played this song many many years ago, and there isn't much syncopation. One thing is that it is extremely hard for people to play instrument which is highly syncopated and sing in the same time. That is one reason why rock music and folk songs are generally on-beat. Saying that, however, many arrangers will have one or two instruments play in syncopation against the melody or chord to enrich the music. Of course, those who played those instruments don't sing.
