Some people think they have won an argument after they picked out an error from the opponent's arguments. At the same time they believe they are going to lose an argument if they admit they have made a mistake somewhere along the way. A lot of time, small mistakes is not going to hurt the discussion at all. Most of the fighting between JFF and Bluesea's is around who make a mistake at which point. That's why it was so boring.
