For a HK permanent resident, the person must be a Chinese citizen, and hence, this person cannot have more than one passport except for BNO which is treated as travel document only. For those HK residents who obtain citizenship of other countries, they need to file declaration of change of citizenship in HK immigration department. They will be stripped from their permanent residency, and are not allowed to be elected as government officials, and have not voting right. They need to stay in HK for 3 years consecutively, otherwise, they will lost their residency. However, the right to land is grant to these people. With the right to land, they will be allowed to stay and work in HK without a visa.
