He couldn't visit many sites he like to visit. That is a big turn off.

I was there mostly for family reunion. I did went to 华侨城大侠谷, and got on the ride which killed about 6 people a couple of day later. The ride wasn't that fun, and the design wasn't very good either. My friend who took us there said later he still overestimated the safety issues after working in China over 10 years.
