However, it works for iPhone 3GS also. I did it yesterday. It failed first time when I tried to setup on an iPhone 3GS. The message said it is not an iPhone4. Somehow, the second try worked a few hours later. I have tested a few times today. It is alright.
IPhone 3GS has internal GPS. But my iPad is a WIFI only version.
