procedure. We believe the outcome of this procedure has been deliberately
or involuntarily exaggerated in the US as well as in China where a preliminary
investigation revealed none of the over 200 treated patients successfully
regained their control of bladder and bowel movement. To the contrary, the
same investigation showed that a sizable minority of these patients who
underwent Xiao Procedure suffered from severe long-term side effect. Some
of them became wheelchair-bound. In this message, we also like to share
with you Dr. Kass' recently posted comments on Dr. Xiao Chuan-Guo's alleged
involvement in a criminal conduct in China. Dr. XIao is the inventor of
Xiao Procedure. Dr. Xiao is alleged mastermind behind assaults on China's
science misconduct watchdogs, and is currently in Chinese police custody,
pending formal charge and trial.
