I am very surprised that Prof. Wang just passed away. Her paper with Uhlenbeck, one of two inventors of electron spin, (Rev. Mod. Phys. 17, 323–342 (1945)) is a real classical one. I had used that paper very heavily in my own Ph.D thesis work back twenty years ago. Though I would guess that Uhlenbeck was responsible for the main idea, however I indeed command very high respect to Prof. Wang, one of pioneers in the field of stochastic dynamics.
