A rancher went to his neighbor's ranch house and knocked on the door. The 10-year-old boy of his neighbor came out.

'Is your dad home?'

'No.'

'Is your mom home?'

'No.'

'Is your brother Howard home?'

'No. He went to town with Dad. How can I help you? If you want to borrow something, just help yourself.'

The rancher paused a bit, and said, 'I just want your dad know that Howard got my daughter pregnant.'
