as far as i know, fights between heavyweight former partners are very common, i believe it's simply a weakness of all human beings:
when they are still unknown, poor, ordinary guys, they have much more tolerance and much less ego.
once they achieved success, it all changed. the bigger fame they get, the more pronouced change.
