回答: A true standard for a winner is to see if he can live longer than expectancy 由 HunHunSheng 于 2005-3-19, 18:57:12:
When you are really old, yes, health and longivity is a very good measure of success. When you are a baby, maturing faster than your peers (start talking, start walking, etc.) is also a good sign of a winner. However, maturing faster probably also means dying sooner.
Keeping the final score only renders the discussion totally meaningless: by the time you can tell whether you are a winner, you won't be able to tell, and won't care.
According to your standard, even Chairman Mao is not big winner: his life is longer than average, but still short comparing to a lot of farmers who never had a full meal in their lives.
