unless leaders of the island are insane. You would be under estimating chinese people on both sides if you believe a full scale, multually destructiing war is unavoidable. War or no war is a serious business. You don't bluff when talking serious business.
Now the leaders of the mainland should figure out a way to compensate those Taiwanese who would be net losers if two sides unite.
