wrong. Doctor of Justice is ph.d is the field of justice studies, which has little to do with a law degree. doctorate degree in law is Juris Doctor(JD), usually a 3-year program. The research degree in law is JSD or SJD, somewhat equivalent to phd in other fields, which is another two years beyond JD program. To get JD, you'll have to have at least a BA or BS degree in advance.
