The nature does not spend any efforts to deliberately maintain an equilibrium. The balance is reached by opposing forces striving for each's own interests. Where was the diligent nature when "整个陆地生态系统的存在和平衡" was destroyed during the numerous mass extinctions in the history of earth?
Creatures struggle each moment to adapt to the ever-changing world. Homo sapiens is of no exception. Nature does not do a good job or bad job, it has retired before ever working.
