the entry market referred by you is "entry" from consumer perspective. If lowering the price is the only way to gain market share so be it. What is market norm? it makes no business sense. There is no market norm, only profit. If you insist there is such a norm, it is called "chinese made car has no place in NA market"(it was "Korean car...", and before that was "Jappanese car..."). You break the norm by selling your very first product in a competitive market.
