Students withdrew from Tiananmen Square without death. There is no *massacre* in and around the square itself. Most deaths occurred along the west Chang'an Avenue and Qianmen. You will read the process in the last chapter of the book.

My interviews are most with a few leaders and some friends of mine who were involved in the whole movement. The book is about the movement, not the massacre.
