The transition was supposed to be complete in 2005. I don't know the latest about it. However, I suppose you can make the density to be close enough. After the transition within the US has completed. This was proposed in 99, but that time, there was no major war. Upon the completion of the transition, I suppose all bullets would be Tungsten/Tin core. I don't really know.
