If Iraq war goes well, economy turns better, McCain has a better chance.

If Iraq situation goes bad, economy worsen, Republican loss.

If a terrorist event like 911 happens in the US, McCain will likely win - I think terrorists should be smarter than that. I guess this year is going to be relatively terrorism free.
