回答: Decency is about telling wrong from right 由 steven 于 2008-08-14, 20:17:59:

Fake tiger, fake drugs and all faked products crossed the line.
However, the so called faked fireworks is not fake at all. I learned its nature from sina.com before I watched NBC broadcast. That footage is not intended to be passed as real image. Judging from the comments from NBC hosts at the time, I bet they were notified that it is computer generated graphics. I would argue that the western media's coverage of the firework is itself a faked news.
There is a line. But it is not a clear and thin line. Don't you agree the world is a series of grays?
I wasn't commenting on the oath. My comments was triggered by your reaction to "moral high ground". However, speaking of truth, if I am an atheist running for office in US, what should I do? Do I disclose my believe during the election? Do I put my hand on the Bible while taking the oath?
