At the entrance, the park ranger to us the 120 had been closed due to 22 feet of snow on the mountain. That was about 3:00 P.M. I'd been driving since 2:00 a.m that day from Phoenix, and I'd to drive all the way from the East entrance to the West entrance along 395, 108, then 120. It was 11:00 P.M. when we finally arrived at the Yosemite camp ground. I'd been driving 22 hrs non-stop. It was fun. On the way back to Phoenix, from SF, as any other sleep deprived drivers who suddenly woke up after involuntarily fallen into sleep, I woke up an saw grassland instead of road in front of me. The first thought was if I had an accident. Then after a minute or so, I remembered we decided to take a nap at the rest area. That was scary. I will never do this again.
