Zweig is similar to CANSLIM but with a little more detail (so more demanding). Tiny Titans is probably only good for paper trading because most of those stocks have very small daily volume. It also lists the 3rd edition of CANSLIM, whose performance is not nearly as good.
The fact that the CSSGX is doing horribly tells you also that the person executing the method is as important (or more important) as the method itself.
