There is almost no mention of Chinese mathematics, but there is a section on Hindu.
In the preface, Kline wrote this sentence on page x :
"To keep the material within bounds I have ignored several civivilzations such as the Chinese, Japanese, and Majan because their work had no material impact on the main line of mathematical thought."
However, he added a footnote on Chinese pointing to another resource.
