换句话说就是：
“波动学正确地解释了光的反射、折射、衍射、颜色等光学现象”。
这句话有什么疑问吗？中学物理教材不就是这么讲的吗？方的这句话很清楚，是指对光的波动性这一物理现象的解释。而不是“光电效应”等波动说无法解释的现象（方的前文好象已提到），更不是所谓的“量子层级的波动”。
翻一下美国的物理教材，讲到光的波动性时也是这样讲的：
Light reflects in the same manner that ANY wave would reflect；Light refracts in the same manner that ANY wave would refract；Light diffracts in the same manner that ANY wave would diffract；Light undergoes interference in the same manner that ANY wave would interfere；And light exhibits the Doppler effect just as ANY wave would exhibit the Doppler effect.
Light behaves in a way that is consistent with our conceptual and mathematical understanding of waves.
