He got picked 3 times, plus one recovered fumble. When Eagles beat other teams in regular season, they really didn't know what truely good defense is, and how they would come up with it. The output of XXXIX SuperBowl shows they didn't find the answer, even with T.O. amessed 123 yards on catching.
McNabb is not as good as Brady, the later never turned over the ball in the game, except an accedental fumble caused by collision with RB Kevin Faulk. Eagles defense plays very solid and limits Pats for only 24 points (Pats put 41 points on Steelers 2 weeks ago who have the 1st defense in the league), actually they did an excellent job by putting a lot pressure on Tom Brady and his offense corp. Eagles just do not have the good enough offense to beat Patriots.
