I started using eMule couple of days ago. (had issues with my network settings before) ...(ok enough of this eMule business, otherwise i may get myself in trouble, especially when HHS is here)
after i start using eMule I watched 2 movies on my PDA (on my way to work and home) in the last couple of days
1. Me and You and Everyone We Know (Miranda July) is a fantastic movie. The script is funny, the acting is superb, the story is interesting and to my taste. Weirdos do weird things in this crazy and lonely planet. We only have Me and You and Everyone We Know. We don't know other people, and other people aren't bothered about us. We live in a massive planet with a massive population but only few people understand what we are doing, what's in our mind ...and they could be so hard to reach, so hard to get hold of, so hard to love.
2. Saving Face (Alice Wu) is a pretty, entertaining, superficial(the story itself can be made a soul searching drama instead of a light comedy) comedy that will do you no harm. I never seen any Joan Chan's movie b4(I was too little for Little Flower), but she's fantastic in this movie.The acting is easily first class (in a comedy). The love story between Wil and Vivan was so sweet, i was instantly addicted to it (the feeling, not the story itself). The story,in my opinion, sometimes lost its direction a little bit and the performance of some of the less important characters is questionable. Some people may think this movie a cliche and a bit too predictable, but even espresso drinkers need a nice cup of tea from time to time and Saving Face will surely give you the taste of a nice cup of cold lemon tea (yum).
