A stupid question:
I learn from xys that 通讯 author is important in the field of life science. Does 通讯 author mean the
author to be corresponded to? or the boss of the group?
If the former, I wonder why my boss always ask me to be the corresponding author (I always refuse becuase I am lazy to do so.) I should be the 通讯 author in our next paper if it is important (if it is important in China,
I do not care since I am interested in getting a job there). BTW my field is physics, does anybody know if
people really care about 通讯 author in my filed?
