回答: senior lecturer =associate professor? 由 markos 于 2007-04-25, 19:01:10:

Well, it depends. Senior Lecturer at "new universities" (i.e. ex polytechs) is only equivalent to a Lecturer B at "old universities", in terms of salary and prestige. The new universities, which currently made up about half of all higher education institutions in the UK, only accquired their current status in 1992. Roughly speaking, only the old universities are research-led.
