No one can deny that Blue Gene/L is a high end system, and its host runs Linux. :) 426 out of 500 supercomputers in 500Top run Linux or modified Linux, and only 6 of them run M$ Windows, and 2 run MacOS X. Definitely "Linux 在高端硬件上有绝对的优势。" Windows and Mac are not even close. Windows only is dominant in the mid-range, and Mac has a niche market.
