Research Abstract
My primary research interest is to study the effects of dietary bioactive components and herbal ingredients on the prevention and treatment of cancer. The first research area is to explore the role of bioactive components in soybean, tea and certain Chinese herbs in inhibiting the growth and metastasis of prostate cancer by using anatomically relevant animal models, and to elucidate molecular/ cellular mechanisms of action. The second research area is to study the effects of soybean phytochemicals, tea polyphenols and herbal components on the progression of breast cancer. The third research area focuses on the role dietary soy products may play in facilitating the effect of radiation treatment on the cancers of prostate and breast.

不知道你说的那则新闻报道的时候(2002年)是不是教授就不知道了。
