In Germany, Dr. med is very different from Dr. rer. nat
(Ph. D). For a chinese with 硕士毕业, one or two years is enough to get it. In fact, a report about reading research papers is enough. A Diplom student
can get his Diplom, together with Dr. med title.

So if it is Dr. med., it is a 真的真学历, but it is equivalent to neither Ph. D, nor 医学博士 in China.
