It is always said that when the interest rate rises, the housing bubble will be burst. Unfortunately the US economy still does not call for high interest rate (I know, I know, it will be here soon, according to many of you.)
On the other hand, limiting mortgage interest deduction effectively raises the interest rate, and may have the same effect. The beauty is that it focuses on the housing market that has the largest bubbling effect. And it also increase Fed revernue in the process.
