Krugman definitely has an ax to grind. Maureen Dawd can be real funny at times. David Brooks is most of the times shallow. Kristoff mostly appeals to the right side of the brain. Tom Friedman probably gives the best global picture. Frank Rich can be surprisingly insightful at times, esp. on domestic politics. But they all sound familiar after a long while so I read them less and less often.
