liar's paradox dated back to Greek time 4 B.C, it is also called Epimenides paradox, since Epimdenides reportedly said "A man says that he is lying. Is what he says true or false?" Russell wrote the liar's paradox in the principle of mathematics, but he didn't claim that's his invention. Russell's paradox is different, which basically says A is a set containing element M iff M is not in A, does A exist? Learn more about the subject you speak of.
